The Stylistic Steppers LLC, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation; Out of School Programs and the students of Palm Beach County Middle Schools have stepped into the history books!
We are completely overjoyed to announce our dream has becoming a reality!
The county has approved our class module/lesson plan for instructing "Chicago Style Steppin' to their middle school students beginning the new school year September, 2007.

”I wanted to share with you how impressed I was with the module. Even though the kids were chatty, they really seemed to have taken a liking. I especially noticed that the ESE kids were able to excel and succeed with the steps.

The progression of the module was well planned out. The students were given the chance to master the skills before moving on. I am a strong believer in perfection before progression with my history in dance and cheerleading.

I just wanted to share this with you and let you know I think you are doing an excellent job. Keep up the great work and we are glad to have you as a Recreation Consultant!

We are extremely excited to announce our purpose or Mission!

We have made a commitment to branch out of the current demographics to STEP OUT, PULL UP and TAKE BACK OUR YOUTH!

Our young people are faced with more adversity today than we were! From the peer pressure to TV (media), the music, the clothing, the list goes on…………..

We have created an affordable avenue to instruct a diverse group of kids in an environment where kids can come and express themselves in a positive way. The program teaches rhythm and timing with dance and creative movement.

Let’s face it kids get stressed too! Why not let them de-stress in a positive art-form? We will teach them a skill that they will have for a lifetime. They will learn the art of the dance, as well as, we will be there to encourage and inspire them to be better, to do better, help build self esteem, learn how to conduct themselves, to speak properly when spoken to and to Step it forward (pay it forward). While developing dancing skills students should not be surprised if: they find exercise and fitness is actually fun, build motor skills, enjoy increased self confidence, overcome shyness, acquire more grace & poise, feel more at ease in social situations, and make new friends through the benefit of teamwork.

The Jr. Stylistic Steppers were introduced to the public on December 2nd, 2006 at the South Florida Steppers 2nd year anniversary party. The event, co-hosted by the Stylistic Steppers held at the elegant Blu Moon restaurant overlooking the downtown Miami waterfront with close to 200 guests in attendance. J’sha Brooks 10 yrs, Diandre Wilson 10 yrs, Sade Green 15yrs & Winston Kennedy 16yrs. (not present at time of photo).

These 4 students were chosen to spearhead the Junior Stylistic Steppers Demo Team.
The Stylistic Steppers youth dance program is an ongoing program that allows students to earn certificates recognizing achievement in dance through a Medalist System. The Medalist System of Bronze, Silver and Gold, helps students set and achieve goals, which gives students a sense of accomplishment and confidence as they achieve each level. This is similar to earning different color belts in Karate.

In the future we will host competitions in each level & age groups where students will have a chance to win valuable prizes!
Stylistic Steppers will host Youth Stepper Sets (dance parties) with their peer’s and to display their talent in front of their parents and invited guest.

Being a member of the Junior Stylistic Steppers camp is to also be what we call Stepper Sharp! Jr. Men will be required to wear suits and Jr. Ladies will be required to wear party dresses.

Some kids are good at sports, others at academics, others in music. But how many can say “I can do a form of ballroom dance, “I am a Chicago Style Stepper”!

We are filling a void: Parents were looking for fun & creative things to do with their kids & kids REALLY WANT & NEED to share quality, fun time with their parents! We have added the convenience for you to share something with your family that can be passed down generation to generation!

Cost for youth classes:

Youth only class: $10.00 per class per student
Family Special Rate:
$5 youth
$10 adults
Adult must accompany kid(s) to receive the special!

Note: Family does not have to be blood relative, if you are a mentor or big sister, big brother you get the special rate: the idea is quality time!

One time registration fee of $20.00 per family (non-refundable)

Registration fee and first class fee are due with registration

$10 fee due beginning of each scheduled class
